Well, since we didn't go the Cross Country with the rest of the school this morning, the Cross Country is coming to us either next Wednesday afternoon or Friday. Mr Atherton is arranging a Cross Country course to be set up in the field, including hay bales and an army ground net - think a cross between and obstacle course and a steeple chase!
This morning's reading was a bit of a mess. I had to pop next door to Room 1 to help out Miss Shaw with R1's Active Board, so one of the Year 8s who stayed behind went into Room 2 to take them for some reading - Dragons, Dragons, Dragons! to be precise.
After fitness...
...I abandoned my planned reading instruction so that I could do some reading assessments with Blue Group. Who all did very well.
For R.E. this afternoon we were discussing, and then acting out, how we can show that the Holy Spirit is working in our lives.
We ended the day with preparing and then playing animal bingo.
Tomorrow please feel free to stop by at about 11 so's you can help us paper mache our baloons.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING AN ART SHIRT!
Mr Grant
